A garden that escaped the urban development, Nazhvan Forest Park is one of the old gardens of Isfahan in an area of 1200 hectare on the western banks of Zayanderud River.

Surrounded by agricultural fields, gardens and charming Zayanderud River, Nazhvan area climate is very moderate in compare to Isfahan due to the greenery coverage. You need to pass Shahid Habibollahi freeway and Olfat St. and then take the Zayanderud Bridge next to the Birds garden to get to Nazhvan Forest Park. Most of the water streams of Isfahan are originating from green and flourishing Nazhvan area located on Zayanderud riverside.
On the other hand, this park is known as filtration lungs of Isfahan city. Industrial parks are mainly located on western part of the city, Nazhvan is purifying the wind when it blows towards Isfahan.

Nazhvan Forest Park covers a vast area with various tourist attractions, and could be a refreshing opportunity to recover the Isfahan city exploration for tourists travelling to Iran, to enjoy the natural beauties and fresh air. On western side of the park, a zoo and birds garden with an attractive landscape is available to visit, but the most outstanding parts to visit are Isfahan Aquarium, Reptiles Garden, Butterflies Garden and the Dolphinarium.

How to Get to Nazhvan?
Located on the western side of Isfahan city, on the banks of the River Zayanderud, next to Vahid Bridge, you would not face any difficulty for getting to Nazhvan Forest Park. There are plenty of guiding signs in Isfahan city to show you the direction.
