Zayanderud is the biggest river in central Iran that flows from the Zagros Mountains, beginning at Zardkuh, all the way down to the wetlands of Gavkhuni.
This massive 2,000km long river is one of Esfahan’s very popular tourist attractions. Its points of attraction are the multiple bridges built across, connecting the two sides of the historical city.
