One of Yazd’s oldest historical sites; dating back to time of Alexander the Great from Macedonia. Although it was initially built and used as a prison, nowadays it has been converted into a school.
Due to its large amount of adobe buildings, Yazd is firstly recognized as the ‘City Adobe City’ and secondly, the ‘Historical City’.
